Bruce- please compare a “Broomstick” lab Mezz putter to a Flow Neck. I have an arc path so the Broomstick takes a while to adjust. Is the change worthwhile?

Hi Tom!

We talk a bit about the face aware player compared to a path aware player. The flow neck is often the choice for the face aware player as the "torque"provides feedback and awareness. The Mezz in a Sweeper configuration is in many ways the ultimate path aware putter. The toe up balance eliminates the feedback of opening or closing. The trick is to find the ball oosition where the face and path match the target line. In making the transition form a flow neck focus on swinging the shaft of the Mezz rather than swinging the putterhead as you did with the flow. If you focus on swinging the shaft through the ball the face you are less likely to "work" the face. Typically you will need to swing at a faster tempo as there is energy in the face closing with a flow neck. You have to replace that energy with more linear speed with the Mezz. Hope that helps.
